Old friend
After a long time - almost a year - I met one of my buddies from freshman year. He'd been working in New Orleans for the summer, he told me. We talked for about an hour and went our own ways.

If this is a real good buddy, see about meeting up with him again... especially if you think you can learn a few things from him... never know you might end up teaching him how things go... or both could happen... both of you have difference experiences and different ways of handling things... so in future situations you may be able to teach him, and learn from him at the same time...
